Mary and Mike have been very interested in snow flakes and ice crystals. They discovered the awesome books that contain the photographic work of Snowflake Bentley. They decided to do some experments of their own. They filled a balloon with water and left it ourside overnight. The pictures don't do it justice! The crystals that formed inside were amazing. They made me drive around in the car with the heater off so they could show off their creation!
Great idea for an experiment! Wish I could have seen it. Maybe you can try it again someday. Love Grandma Joyce
